Coaching is distinct from mentoring, counselling and consulting as it employs a collaborative approach to help the clients find their own answers. It deals more with the individual goals and dreams and how a client moves from where they are now to a future that they want. We work with you to set goals, provide feedback and encouragement to facilitate learning and skill development. This assists to leverage performance, foster innovation and facilitate improvement in both individuals and the organisation.

Our approach is focused on assisting clients who are prepared to invest in making a difference. This will generally be to improve performance in a specific area that has already been identified as important. The frequency, duration, method and location of our meetings will be designed to have the greatest impact on your performance.

Group or Team

In addition to the performance areas outlined for One-on-One engagements, we are also able to cover group specific areas. Teams will learn how to increase cohesion, develop motivational strategies, and rebound from adversity, as well as learn mental skills training including goal setting, relaxation, imagery, self-talk, and focus and concentration techniques.

Leaders and managers can also set up seminars, or a series of seminars, designed around performance-related skills (imagery, goal setting, implementing sport psychology into practice), team building (handling adversity, burnout), life skills (leadership, stress management, communication skills), and career development.

Teams may engage our services on an as-needed basis or for a more structured retainer period (for example a season or business quarter). Our engagements include one-on-one sessions, live observations and ongoing professional feedback.
