Leader & Team Development

Our approach avoids direct manager appraisal while we cover a holistic set of competencies for Leadership and Management (both people and task). We use instruments that are both motivating and appreciated as fair, broad in scope and non-threatening. We use two distinct processes:

  1. 360 Facilitated ®
    Managers and teams are taken through a facilitated process leading to action oriented development plans and organisational improvement. This is on-the-job or action learning – the context for development is the task. Also used with cross-functional teams, statistical reports provide benchmarks for the organisation or group of managers.
     
  2. 360 Leader/Manager Profiles
    For those in manager development programs and MBA programs where they can deal constructively with the feedback, identify learning gaps and make positive changes. Also provides a benchmark for the organisation.

Questionnaires are processed directly on the internet or can be paper based. The comprehensive Leader/Manager Guide and the Leader/Manager Types™ style self-scoring instrument are used in conjunction with the profiles in debriefing the manager.

High Performance Team Development

Use our unique Performance Planning for Excellence approach developed with elite sports teams. You will learn to develop a team vision, key result areas and individual objectives. Behavioural profiling and leading edge communication processes will ensure the team is able to work together to achieve results is an efficient and effective manner.

Teams will also learn how to increase cohesion, develop motivational strategies, and be able to rebound from adversity. In addition we provide mental skills training, goal setting, relaxation, imagery, self-talk, focus and concentration techniques.
